Media Policy

Emerging Parents documents select events and programs through photography, video, and audio to celebrate community, share our work, and support our nonprofit mission.
Event attendance and consent
By attending an Emerging Parents event or program, you understand that photographs, video, or audio may be captured and you consent to the use of your likeness in these materials, unless you notify a member of our team in advance or at the event.
How we may use media
Event media may appear on our website, social channels, newsletters, printed materials, grant reports, and other communications that help tell the story of Emerging Parents. We will not knowingly use media in a misleading or inappropriate way.
Your choice
If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please let an Emerging Parents organizer know when you arrive. We will make reasonable efforts to honor your request and avoid using identifiable media of you going forward.
Children and families
Parents and legal guardians are responsible for communicating any media preferences for children in their care. When appropriate, Emerging Parents may seek additional permission before using media that prominently features a minor.
